Fox Gun Co., Phila, Pa.: A 16 Bore Sterlingworth, 30" Ejector barrels, It Remains in Very Nice Condition with Excellent Wood, It was made in 1916, 30" Ejector Sterlingworth Fluid Compressed Steel Barrels, .657 .007 & .020" (Imp.Cyl. & Imp.Mod.), 2 1/2" chambers, Correct & Original bore dimensions, Double triggers, Snap-On Splinter forend, Pistol grip stock at 14 1/8 x 1 9/16 x 2 9/16" over the original Fox hard buttplate, Factory grip cap, 6 lbs. 7 oz., An excellent piece of wood for a Sterlingworth that has been refinished but not sanded as the wood is slightly proud overall, The barrels have been professionally reblacked and now remain at 100%, 100% of fresh case colors remain, The butt and forend with the fresh finish remains at 98%, The checkering is at 99%, The bores and chambers are excellent and free of any pits or dings. Here is a genuinely nice and solid A. H. Fox 16 Bore Ejector with 30" barrels from the Philadelphia era that lasted there until 1930 before going to Utica, New York when Savage acquired the company.
