#37567, Holland & Holland Ltd., 13 Bruton Street, London W 1: A 12 Bore Holland & Holland Anson & Deeley Boxlock Ejector Made 1968 with 28" Ejector Dovetail Lump Barrels at .726 .008 & .025" (Imp.Cyl. & Imp.Mod.), 2 3/4" chambers, Birmingham proved at 3 1/4 tons in 1968 with 2 3/4" chambers, Double triggers, Splinter forend with a frontal Anson release, Straight hand stock at 16 3/4 x 1 1/2 x 2 3/8" over a full face checkered butt, Neutral stock with a slight swept comb, It has a 1 11/16" added extension that I am certain came from the same piece of wood as it matches well, This was very well done and is hardly noticeable, Without the extension the stock is 15" LOP, 12 bore game gun weight at 6 lbs. 11 oz., Fairly nice wood with good color, 30% engraving coverage, This piece retains 98% original case colors, 96-97% original barrel blue, The wood with original finish that remains at 95%, The checkering is at 99%, The bores and chambers are excellent plus. There is a small chip missing at the toe of the stock. 

This gun is marked "Shot & Regulated by Holland & Holland". This piece was made by Webley & Scott in Birmingham in 1968 for H&H to be sold out of London. In 1979 Webley & Scott became W & C Scott Gunmakers Ltd. Then in 1985 Holland & Holland acquired the Scott name and now had a factory in Birmingham. With this acquisition they now had skilled craftsmen to provide a supply of quality boxlock game guns.
