A. 270 Self-Cocking Rebounding Hammer Game Gun (Can Cock Manually as Well) Finished at A&S in 1975 with 27" Chopper Lump Barrels at .726 .000 & .011 (Cyl. & Imp. Cyl.), Original 2 3/4", KG 1,270 weight barrels, Top tang safety, Double triggers with the front articulated, Splinter game forend with their signature Gold shield inset inside the checkering, Straight hand stock at 14 5/8 x 1 7/16 x 2 1/8” over a full face checkered butt, Game gun weight at 6 lbs. 11 oz., 35% coverage of very nice scroll engraving by Pasolini and signed on a coin finished frame; The engraving covers the top tang, top lever, hammers, trigger plate, trigger guard and tang, All of the forend metal; Gold inlaid border surrounding the entire lockplates and hammers; Gold inlaid serial number on the guard tang, Gold crown on the toplever; "Armi Famars" in Gold on the left lockplate and on the barrels, It has very nicely carved fences that complement the 19th Century styled hammers plus a very nice carved frame. This exclusive 12 Bore Game Gun remains totally original. The barrels are new inside and out and ring with an impressive chime, This piece is original and the barrels are browned and retain 94% brown, The wood is 94-95% with typical hunting marks, The checkering is at 99%, The coin finished frame and forend iron are at 96%. The whole is cased in the maker's leather trunk. The in-house craftsman signed off on this piece on the rear barrel lump, Mario, Primo, Remo and Tony.
